Project Overview
LibraAI is a multi-role library platform for managing institutions, staff, cataloguing, OPAC search, patrons, circulation, holds, fines, payments, reports, and digital resources. It supports ISBN lookup, MARC records, barcode-based circulation, patron accounts, Paystack fine payments, and automated library workflows.

Challenge
Managing multiple librarian roles and permissions. Connecting cataloguing, circulation, fines, holds, and patron accounts into one flow. Handling external book metadata sources and missing catalogue data.
Delivery
Built a Next.js dashboard with role-based modules, OPAC pages, cataloguing tools, circulation desk, fine management, settings, reports, and patron self-service flows.
Impact
Reduces manual library work, improves catalogue accuracy, speeds up checkout/check-in, and gives patrons easier access to loans, holds, fines, and search.
